Unit 2 Poem/Song Painting- Process Work and Final Painting

Here is the process work for Unit 2, all of these photos are in order.

Tried out some painting and colour work on the wooden board. One side gessoed and the other side bare wood. One of the three canvases I used was wooden, so it was a useful experiment. Used this for both Unit 2 and 3.

Final Painting


The painting brings the viewer into the forest, creating the feeling of curiosity and wonderment.

There was some glare issue with taking the photos.

Separately taken so you can see the detail in each canvas. The glare affected each canvas differently, I am assuming because they are different: Wooden canvas, Hand Stretched canvas, bought canvas from shop.
